1. Miami Wave

Miami Wave gives nighttime Los Santos a stronger visual identity.

The pack pushes the game toward a Miami-inspired nightlife style with vivid evening colors, ENB effects, SSR reflections, AMD CAS sharpening, and nine weather types. Beaches, clubs, illuminated streets, sports cars, and late-night RP all fit naturally into that visual direction.

The effect becomes especially noticeable when you spend a lot of time driving after dark. Street lighting and reflections give familiar routes a more cinematic finish, while the weather selection adds variety across different sessions.

Pick Miami Wave when you want nightlife to become one of the defining visual features of your GTA 5 setup.

2. Los Angeles Roads

Think about how much of GTA 5 you actually spend looking at pavement.

Roads stay in front of the camera during police patrols, deliveries, races, taxi work, free roaming, and almost every trip across the map. Los Angeles Roads upgrades that constant part of the image with high-resolution road textures, markings, signs, and wear details inspired by Los Angeles.

The improvement follows you through highways, intersections, and city routes. More detailed pavement also makes vehicles, shadows, and street lighting feel more convincing at road level.

The change stays visible throughout normal driving, long after the first comparison. For driving-heavy gameplay, Los Angeles Roads delivers one of the most consistently visible upgrades on the list.

3. Asset Renovation – May 2026 Update

Slow down in downtown Los Santos and the city starts revealing a completely different layer.

Benches, hydrants, trash bins, street furniture, building elements, and other environmental objects surround the player during pedestrian scenes. Asset Renovation focuses on these everyday assets and brings more detail to the objects that fill streets and public spaces.

That approach works particularly well in RP. Business meetings, police interactions, sidewalk conversations, screenshots, social scenes, and slower civilian gameplay keep smaller environmental details in view for much longer.

Asset Renovation also combines naturally with road and lighting mods because it works on another visual layer. Its biggest payoff appears up close, where small city objects become a much stronger part of the scene.

4. Simple Parkour

Los Santos becomes a different map when rooftops become part of the route.

Simple Parkour adds movement mechanics built around wall runs, jumps, and reaching high places. It runs as a GTA 5 Legacy script and requires ScriptHookV plus ScriptHookVDotNet, with parkour.dll placed in the scripts folder.

That changes free roaming immediately. Rooftop routes create new ways to move between locations, while urban areas gain another level of exploration above street level. The city stays recognizable, but the routes through it expand.

Among a list dominated by visual and environmental upgrades, Simple Parkour brings a gameplay-focused alternative. Choose Simple Parkour when you want movement itself to change how you explore Los Santos.

5. Summer Vibe

Take a daytime drive from Los Santos toward the hills and Blaine County. Summer Vibe becomes more noticeable with every stretch of vegetation.

Trees, palms, flowers, clearer skies, and brighter sunlight push San Andreas toward a warm summer look. Beaches, parks, countryside roads, residential neighborhoods, and open landscapes make especially good showcases because vegetation occupies so much of the frame.

The mod builds its effect through vegetation, weather, and the wider environment. That makes it easy to combine with road textures, city objects, and other upgrades that handle separate visual layers.

For players who spend most of their sessions outdoors, the seasonal treatment follows them across a large portion of the map. Summer Vibe is a strong choice for daytime driving and outdoor RP where vegetation shapes the atmosphere.

6. Christmas in Paleto

Paleto Bay already feels separate from central Los Santos. Christmas in Paleto gives it an even more distinct identity.

The map mod adds Christmas lights around the Paleto Bay sheriff station, church, several houses, and Christmas trees. The holiday theme stays concentrated around one recognizable location, turning Paleto into a dedicated seasonal destination.

That scale creates useful single-player scenarios. Holiday gatherings, screenshots, winter road trips, and seasonal scenes gain a place that visibly belongs to the occasion. Its single-player installation uses Menyoo and Object Spooner, with the supplied XML file placed in the menyoostuff\Spooner folder.

Christmas in Paleto works best when you want one part of the map to feel like a dedicated holiday location.

7. Realistic Stars

Most visual upgrades keep your attention at street level. Realistic Stars gives night scenes another direction to look.

The mod refreshes the night sky with real-life constellations, adjusted star brightness and visibility, and improved moon textures with crater detail.

Beaches, mountain roads, highways, rural areas, and open stretches of Blaine County give the sky more room in the frame. Late-night driving becomes the natural use case, especially in setups that already improve roads and environmental lighting.

Its focused scope makes the mod easy to add to a broader visual setup. For scenic night drives, Realistic Stars adds detail to one of the largest visual spaces outside downtown.

8. Billboards of Los Santos

Billboards of Los Santos refreshes advertising around the map with modern high-resolution designs.

You notice the change naturally while moving through highways, commercial zones, intersections, and downtown streets. Modern signage fits particularly well with setups built around refreshed roads, businesses, nightlife, and contemporary city scenes.

The appeal is understated: familiar streets simply feel more current as you move through them.

9. Autumn Vibe

Summer Vibe brings out the bright side of San Andreas. Autumn Vibe changes the season in another direction.

Trees and plants take on fall colors, environmental surfaces follow the same theme, and cloudier skies give outdoor areas a cooler character. The package also combines its seasonal treatment with Iconic Visual graphics.

Hills, suburbs, countryside roads, and vegetation-heavy parts of the map show the transition most clearly. Routes you have driven hundreds of times gain a different palette while retaining the structure and landmarks you already know.

Autumn Vibe also works well for players who like rotating the look of GTA 5 through different seasons. Pick it for a seasonal change that gives familiar outdoor routes a calmer, cooler visual identity.

10. Winter Expansion

Winter Expansion takes the seasonal idea to the largest scale in this top ten.

This FiveM mod adds bare winter trees, improved snow textures, Christmas decorations, and changes to lighting and ambiance. It can create a winter atmosphere even on servers where continuous snow is not part of the normal environment.

Its scale separates it from Christmas in Paleto. Paleto creates one concentrated single-player festive location, while Winter Expansion spreads the seasonal treatment across a wider FiveM environment.

Familiar routes take on a different character once roads, vegetation, lighting, and decorations follow the same winter direction.

For a broad FiveM winter transformation, Winter Expansion changes the overall atmosphere of Los Santos.

How to Install GTA 5 Mods for PC

GTA 5 mods use different installation methods depending on their format. Script mods such as Simple Parkour require ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet; for Simple Parkour, place parkour.dll inside the GTA 5 scripts folder.

For GTA 5 Legacy file mods, OpenIV supports two common workflows. If the mod comes as an .oiv package, open Tools — Package Installer, select the package, choose the installation destination, and follow the installer steps. For manual replacements, install ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI through Tools → ASI Manager, create a mods folder in the GTA 5 root directory, and copy the required RPF archive there while preserving its original path. For example, GTAV\update\update.rpf becomes GTAV\mods\update\update.rpf. Make the required texture, model, or other file changes inside that copied archive.

Supported mods can also be installed through the ModsHub desktop app. Open the app, select the correct GTA 5 installation, choose a mod from the library, and click Install. ModsHub handles file placement automatically and supports GTA 5 Legacy, GTA 5 Enhanced, FiveM, RageMP, and Alt:V.
